HEY YOU, IT'S ME.
Who am I? Good question. I'm actually figuring it out as we speak. But, I'll let you in on what I do know ;)
My parents named me 潘雅迪. Y'know being born Chinese and all. For those of you who don't read Chinese yet (gasps in Korean) my name is Pan Yadi; Yadi Pan because I'm Australian (may or may not be related to Peter). I never bothered to take on a English name like my parents and brother... probably never will (but that don't mean I don't use pseudonyms from time to time ;)
East Coast rep. Eight years in Sydney, ten in Brisbane (maybe nine since I was in Beijing for a year) and now Melbourne. When did I move from Beijing? Roughly a year old (won't bore you). I'm fluent but not proficient :(
I've been turning another year older every 30th of December since 1996, which currently makes me 19. Wow, groundbreaking. I started out doing Business/Arts but that wasn't right for me. So I currently study architecture at The University of Melbourne. This may or may not change to medicine.
I'm still looking for the thing(s) that make my heart beat irrefutably fast. For now, there's a few things that come pretty close. These include but are not limited to; cinematography, photography, fashion, editorial work, learning (read:butchering) new languages, scoffing down hot crepes while exploring new places, fuelling my shopping addiction (at least it's not cocaine ok), drinking my weight in smoothies, anatomy, binge watching something, going to art exhibits, and making useless comments on anything and everything about an establishment.
I started this blog as an outlet for me. Fun, frustrations, film, food, fashion and the likes will all be documented here.
